I’m not a big company or a professional shop — I’m just a regular guy with a 9-to-5 (well… more like a 6-to-5). Because I don’t make a ton of money, I’ve had to rely on myself to handle things like car maintenance, home maintenance, and everyday projects in order to get things done without putting myself in a financial hole.
At the same time, not everything should be done on your own. Sometimes it’s worth bringing in a professional — not just to fix the problem, but to ask questions, understand what’s being done, and learn something so the next time, you might be able to handle it yourself.
KartorTool exists to share those kinds of practical insights. It’s about offering honest suggestions on tools that are affordable, useful, and fit real-world needs.
You’ll mostly see tools that get the job done without breaking the bank. That said, there are times when spending a little extra for better performance, durability, or design makes sense — and you may see higher-value tools featured as well. You should never feel like you have to choose the most expensive option. In most cases, there will be a more affordable choice that still does exactly what you need.
